Dinner in Perpignan

Dressed for dinner in Perpignan                             Two of my three silly kiddos

Dinner at La France

Tomato bread and "tortilla" which was a quiche like dish with potatoes and onions.  Pretty good!

After dinner at La France, we listened to a local band playing in a narrow pathway, outside another restaurant, then back to the hotel. We spent the night at a brand new hotel at the beach.  I think we were the first ones to stay there.  There seemed to be “official” hotel people touring it.  It was very modern, with concrete walls and very energy efficient.  You had to put the room key in a slot in your room so the electricity would come on.  It was interesting to flip through the channels and watch old episodes of ER and Murder She Wrote, dubbed in French. The only English speaking channel was The BBC…boring.

Mom & Kathy fly to London today to spend a couple of days, then to Cornwall (where Doc Martin is filmed).  Then, as Mom put it “I’ll see you in Paris. Sounds funny, doesn’t it”.  Usually, it’s “I’ll meet ya at WalMart.”
